About the Project
PLMS is a New Zealand log export company operating across multiple ports, managing complex export operations that include log procurement, yard inventory, vessel scheduling, shipping execution, export documentation, and settlement.
As PLMS expanded its export business across multiple New Zealand ports, it faced increasing challenges in coordinating vessel schedules, controlling port operations, tracking log inventory by grade and batch, and consolidating operational and financial data. We designed and implemented an integrated ERP solution tailored for the log export industry. The platform connects sales contracts, procurement, multi-port inventory, vessel planning, loading execution, export documentation, and financial settlement into one unified system. It enables real-time visibility of stock across ports, better vessel loading coordination, accurate shipment profitability analysis, and stronger operational control from yard to vessel.

Project Outcome
The ERP solution gave PLMS a single operational platform across multiple ports. The company gained real-time visibility into inventory, vessel schedules, and shipment execution status.
