AutoParts - Automotive Parts ERP System

Company Overview

About the Project

AutoParts is an automotive parts trading company managing a wide range of SKUs with complex inventory structures and fluctuating demand. The business faces challenges in slow-moving stock clearance, fragmented order management, disconnected operational data, and limited visibility into real profitability. To improve operational efficiency and financial control, the company requires an integrated ERP system that unifies inventory, orders, and data across the entire business.

We designed and implemented a tailored ERP system for AutoParts to address four core operational needs: inventory clearance, order management, data integration, and profit transparency. The system enables centralized order processing across multiple sales channels, with support for order lifecycle tracking, fulfillment coordination, and exception handling. It introduces structured inventory management with SKU-level tracking, aging analysis, and slow-moving stock identification to support clearance strategies and reduce capital lock-up. Through unified data integration, the platform connects sales, inventory, procurement, and finance, eliminating data silos and enabling consistent, real-time reporting. Additionally, the system provides detailed cost allocation and profit analysis at order and SKU levels, giving management clear visibility into margins and business performance. With dashboards and reporting tools, AutoParts can make data-driven decisions on pricing, stock clearance, procurement planning, and sales strategy.

Project Outcome

The ERP system provided AutoParts with a unified operational platform to manage inventory, orders, and financial data. Inventory turnover improved through better visibility of slow-moving stock and structured clearance processes. Order handling became more efficient and traceable, reducing errors and delays. Data across departments was fully integrated, enabling real-time reporting and eliminating manual reconciliation. Most importantly, management gained clear insights into true profitability at both order and product levels, supporting more informed decisions on pricing, inventory strategies, and business growth. Overall, the system strengthened operational efficiency, reduced inventory pressure, and enhanced financial transparency.
