About the Project

Aotearoa Fine Foods is a small food manufacturing company in New Zealand focused on producing high-quality food products with strict freshness and traceability requirements. The business requires precise batch tracking, shelf-life management, and efficient stock rotation to ensure compliance and reduce waste. With growing operations, the company faces challenges in managing expiry dates, coordinating simple production processes, and maintaining clear visibility across inventory, purchasing, and sales.

We designed and implemented a tailored ERP system for Aotearoa Fine Foods, focusing on six core modules: batch management, shelf-life control with FEFO (First Expired First Out), lightweight production management, inventory management, purchasing and supplier management, and sales order processing. The system enables full traceability from raw materials to finished goods through batch-level tracking. Shelf-life monitoring and FEFO rules ensure optimal stock rotation and minimize waste. A simplified production module supports basic production workflows, including material consumption and output recording. Inventory management provides real-time stock visibility, while purchasing and supplier modules streamline procurement processes. The sales module supports order creation, invoicing, and fulfillment tracking. Together, the system standardizes operations, improves compliance, and enhances efficiency across the business.
